infinite loading
About this tag
The tag 'infinite loading' on WindowsForum.com covers issues where Windows fails to progress past a loading screen, often during boot or after system changes. Common scenarios include a laptop stuck at the Windows loading bar, safe mode halting at crcdisk.sys, and Windows Explorer entering an infinite loading state. Users report these problems after copying data, installing incorrect drivers, or performing system restores. Troubleshooting attempts like Last Known Good Configuration, safe mode, and reinstallation may fail. The tag also includes cases where processes cannot be killed, requiring a hard reset. These discussions focus on Windows Vista, 7, and Enterprise editions, with hardware like SSDs and Compaq laptops mentioned.
