About this tag
The tag 'intrusive' on WindowsForum.com is used by members to describe unwanted or disruptive elements in their online experience. Discussions tagged with 'intrusive' often focus on website features or advertisements that interfere with normal browsing, such as a persistent 'tweets' link that blocks text and requires extra scrolling, or audio-enabled ads that play unexpectedly and cause embarrassment. These threads highlight user frustration with design choices or ad placements that feel overly aggressive or invasive. While the tag does not cover system security or software updates, it reflects a common concern about user interface annoyances and the balance between site functionality and user comfort.
Is there a mechanism by which we get rid of that intrusive and intensely irritating "tweets" link which necessitates scrolling up and down a page to read the text which it is blocking?
