I have a lot of empathy & understanding for my colleagues in the Forum. However, I realise as new folks keep coming to the forum, we must persevere. The point of a forum, as we see it, the aim, is to help people, guide, instruct, offer some insight & enlightenment & maybe, even fix...

Hello
Win 7 home premium, i5,1T 3.30 GHz
Why would you want to use a VM?
I tinker a lot and was told I could just delete the VM if I had trouble.
Would this VM help one who explores and tinkers to learn and can the VM be removed?
Thank you for your help.
Peter
You can watch the videos via the controls on a PDF stored on my Skydrive page. Those videos are for Windows 8 beginners. People who have used Windows 8 extensively, probably know what I am presenting.

Today, while visiting my mother-in-law, after I did her routine maintenance for her (MBAM alone found 271 bad items, including 33 trojans), I got a surprise. She gave me a Dell Dimension 2400 (the one I used to keep up for her), & it's in great shape. It has XP Home, but I plan to install a dual...

I wanted a one sheet reference card for the speech recognition commands that I could print and use while I'm still learning how to use speech recognition. I had to make one. I thought it would be worth sharing.

This is scary ( & tongue in cheek )… I've been discovering how to navigate & find things in W8 and learning I can make my way around in Windows 8 quite nicely & do this much better in the Beta than, in the DP and OMG, imagine... in spite of being w/out a Start Menu... who'd a thunk it, eh? LOL.
You can soon start sharing files on a home network with simple steps, if you have an environment where each computer is connected to the Internet. It is not difficult to build a home network even if different versions of Windows such as Windows 7,...

Hello Windows7forums!!! :p;)
I'm new to Windows7forums but not Windows 7. I was a one of the Windows 7 Beta downloaders during the first part of 2009. I spent most of my time on w7forums and actually became Mod there. Sometimes I wonder if I am actually worthy of that title though. There is so...
I recently was given this computer. I have some knowledge, but not much. Please forgive me if anything is out of the ordinary. I have done a little research, but I am starting to skim things and not fully take them in. I would love to have someone assist me with this.
I was recently trying to...
Hi, I recently began learning Office 2010 and have an Excel specific question. The thing is, when I print an Excel-file I prepared the print is real tiny, almost unreadable as if the sheet should be divided into 6 or 7 pages rather than the 3 pages that I have somehow managed to get it down to...
