    Windows 8 Can i use the same product key on another computer if i uninstall windows 8 on the first?

    If i decide that i want to uninstall windows 8 from my computer, can i then install it on another using the same product key that i used on the first or is it once used you cannot recover your product key?

    Windows 7 deactivating win7 to install on another one

    I am trying to move the Win 7 from laptop to another how to activate it on the older and install it on the new one. I don't remember how the activation proceeded on the old one. Please advise it's urgent, I am prompted to activate win7 within 7 days.
