Windows 7 Crazy keyboard and mouse!

Hello all, I apologise for the length of this first post but I want to give as much information as I can. Whilst I would never call myself a nerd I have what I would assess as maybe being an enthusiastic amateur knowledge and experience with computers. This afternoon I wanted to move my...

Windows 7 How activate webcam Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook A530?

I recently aquired this notebook 2:nd hand - no manual, natch - and wonder how to activate the built-in webcam. I have googled the phrase in the subject expecting a straightforward answer to a straightforward question but get zilch, nada or else pages that promise to give the answer if I just...

How adjust Fujitsu Lifebook A530 display brightness/contrast?

The display on my Fujitsu Lifebook A530 is so bright it's actually painful to watch. Especially at night. I have tried the F6-F9 keys (marked ▼ ▲ ▼ ▲) that I think are supposed to adjust brightness/contrast but no go. Any ideas as to what to do? Yeah, shades - but that somehow seems so low-tech.

Windows 7 Win7 Reboot after shutdown, hangs on sleep.

A couple days ago, my computer hung after going into an idle induced sleep. It would not wake up. I had to power off. This problem continues. Another symptom is it will not shutdown or hybernate. It starts back up again. Things I've already done: Uninstall Roxio Turn off Wakeup on Lan...

Windows 7 All microphones output only static

My laptop has two built-in microphones and I have a USB sound card with two microphones built into it. Both recording devices show up in software but if I try to use either of them they output high pitched static for a few seconds and then go completely silent. The right channel always cuts out...
