Hi
I spent a lot of time getting my Windows Mail App up and running in the last build.
Now I can't even find it?
I've looked for a Mail icon for it, but I don't find a place to open it.
I found WinMail.exe but it doesn't open anything.
Anyone know where the link to it is at, or what the link...
Some users may find trouble opening the Mail,Calender and People app in Build 10041. Apparently down to a licensing issue Microsoft have blogged a solution here (it works too):

Hi
I'm not able to receive mail using the mail app in Windows 10.
I can send, but messages sent to my Gmail account, (my Windows account) don't show up in Windows Mail.
When I open Thunderbird they are all there.
I thought that it may be deleting the mail because it gets sent to Thunderbird...
Hi
On my wife's computer in Windows 8.1 she uses Thunderbird as her mail client.
But when she clicks on a mail link in on line in Chrome or IE it opens the Mail app instead of Thunderbird, and want's her to log into her Microsoft account.
The mail app doesn't work with Comcast mail even if...
Hi
I activated the Mail app in Windows 10 for the first time just a few minutes ago, I added my Gmail account and opened it up.
It looks great, I may stop using Thunderbird, I like the clean modern look.
But I have a question.
When I open it it shows my Gmail account, but I also use a...
I have 3 email accounts on my Windows 8.1 machine as setup in the mail app. One of them, my gmail account, is old and no longer used. In fact, I can't log in to it.
Going to the right, and 'settings', then 'accounts' lists the email accounts I have. Clicking on one of the 'good' accounts...
I have a back up of my emails from outlook 2010 in a hard drive.
I shows its file format as .pst. I need to import these emails in mail.app.
Using import function is a waste as it imports only the empty folders.
How do I imports all the folders and the mails in them too.
Please help.
Obviously, I am new to Windows 8.
When I am at a web site that contains .JPG images, I can right click on the image to forward it to a third party as an email attachment. I have done this in the past using Vista. However, I receive an error message, saying that I do not have a default email...
Hi
After seeing a reference to it in another post I looked at and installed the trial of "Modern Mix" on my PC.
This program is pretty much invisible, that is you probably will forget you have it installed but what it does is change the way things open from the Metro screen.
For instance I...
I got all my windows mail files transferred to my new pc with Windows 8. Since they are in Vista Windows mail format I cannot open them. There does not seem to be an app for this. Any ideas on what I can use to view the contents?
I've been using Windows 8 for a couple months. I have a live.com email that I use to log into Win 8. When I open Mail app (outlook and live.com) it comes up full screen and has very few controls. About all you can do is send a email. No contacts. When I go to use live.com within the Chrome...
How do I add my gamil on the mail app. I have googled and you can, but its wanting me to sign in with my Microsoft account. Do I have too, I just want to use gmail.
How do I import my old contacts to the people app in Windows 8? I have exported them from Thunderbird in .csv format. I tried importing them into Outlook.com, which worked, however the contacts do not sync with the people app. I can find no option in the people app or the email app to import...
Hi
Well I have my new computer and most everything is working great.
I tried to use the Mail App but I couldn't get it to work.
After a rather round about path I finally got to the Add Account window.
But I can't get it to work, I put in my address and password and it either says it...

Hello,
I found a bug in all the "New UI" apps (Mail, messaging etc.), in which when I try to type the letter 'י' in Hebrew (located in the H key on the keyboard) more than twice in a row (exp. hhh, but in Hebrew) the app crashes.
I think it has something to do with the spellcheck function...
