Couldn't really find anything through google, so I thought I might as well come here.
It might be a little hard to explain, but... well it seems like after a Windows Update for today whenever I click any of the tabs on the menu bar (i.e. File, Edit, View, Tools, etc.) instead of normally having...

In Windows 7 and Windows Vista, M$ has hidden the "Menu Bar" by default.

As in XP and previous versions of Windows the "Menu Bar" contains;

Hi, I had Windows 7, but then I had to re-format the PC and now it's not like I had before. Maybe you guys can help me put it just the way it was.

Seen multiple posts in this area but no solutions. It seems like the system is constantly cycling somehow, so there is never enough time to select from the All Programs list, or for a taskbar right click or even hard to select an app when Alt-Tab is pressed. You can see a slight blink on any...
Under Win XP it was possible to make the START menu "Control Panel" cascading.
That means when I go with the mouse on the menu "Control Panel" then automatically all sub-menues were shown as separate menus.
How can I achieve this in Win7?
Same with "devices and printers" menu.

Hi All,
I have W7 running "fairly well" on my HP Media Center. So far I like it. I must admit to everyone first, that I'm a Mac User and have just received a PC. So much differences. So complicated. I'm setting W7 up to run like my PowerMac. Desk drive to allow seeing disks on the desktop...

I've been using IME to type in Japanese, but I'm having a weird problem with it. It will run on startup fine, (I've seen the ctfmon.exe thing, and I have it running) but the IME panel disappears any time I bring focus to any application other than the taskbar/start menu. It used to work fine...

The taskbar icons (the ones I've pinned to the taskbar) for MS Word and MS Excel are showing broken/not found icons. They were there for some time and the a few days ago showed broken.
The icons in the system menu display correctly.
How do I correct this?
Thanks,
MauiNick
What is wrong with my drop down menus? In the attached .jpg, you can see the text is all off to the right. How do I fix this? This is the only graphics problem that I am having.
is there any way to restore move to the right click menu on the task bar? i know the menu in question does exist as it comes up if you right click a window's title bar.
In the right-click menu, I have only one item in "new..." (acceso directo = shortcut), so I dont need the subfolder.
How can I move "shortcut" to the left side of the menu?

Hi all. Would somebody please tell me how to fix this issue?? As you see I have "Windows Aero" selected and applied, but my menus still show up as I would have "Windows Classic" applied. You can see in this shot that I already pressed "Apply", but the menus didn't change. Dragging windows all...
I just purchased a new laptop with windows 7 and noticed that if I have my mouse pointer over a menu, file, link etc. it is either opened or closed depending on where my mouse is. To me this is a pretty annoying setting. Does anyone know how to turn it off?
