When i try to browse the internet, I type the address in the address box and it tries to load the come up with redirecting, please click here to not redirected for about half a second, then navigation cancels!

I will say, missing or writing the rest of an OS because of a certain Start screen is somewhere between sad & silly. Making an big issue, fuss & blockage over a Start screen, that not only doesn't need to be used (There IS choice) but, gets in the way of nothing, hardly makes grounded sense...

Place your mouse cursor anywhere in the Ribbon and then use the Scroll Wheel. It will scroll from File to Home to Share to View.
This way, you won't have to click on the Tab you want.
