Hi, one of the optimize tip for ISS is to disable logging. But does someone here know how much this can speed up the website? Will it be a huge performance win, or not noticeable at all? /L

Can this amount of files be normal. I just ran a virus scan and it stated that my files are ok. My notebook has been running slow and sometimes I cannot make a connection. Can my software and applications be the cause of this many files?

Whats the recommended cluster and sector size for 4TB or 6TB hard disk (formatted with NTFS)? It should be optimized for random access speed. Whats the difference between cluster and sector size at all? And which one has more impact on the random access speed? Toby

Since upgrading to Windows 10 2004, I have encountered an issue with the tool Defragment & Optimize Drives. I am able to run the tool and it appears to run the optimization command properly but upon reboot it returns to the above "Never run" and "Needs optimization" Any suggestions on how to fix?
