Well after much arguing and frustration here is the guide on how to perform a Clean (or "custom" as Microsoft calls it) Install using the Upgrade Media with Windows 7. :) Enjoy!

From what he said in Windows Weekly 80, it's also quite possible. The Windows 7 code is stable, because nothing is added to Windows 7 until it's complete.

I'm guessing the gadgets are still there but are just losing their bar, judging from what we already know about gadgets in Windows 7.
Also, I'm guessing that "Aero-based"...
