PCLinuxOS latest kernel, (5.2.14-pclos) is smooth and rocking on both my computers.
I have tried Ubuntu, Kbuntu, Mint, Mageia Linux, and more. I keep coming back to PCLinuxOS-kde . It is a Linux OS that is easy for a newcomer, yet crazy tweakable.

I have had this problem for some time. Don't remember if it was a problem with build 1803, but for sure since the beginning of build 1809.
I have the screen turning off after 30 minutes, sleep after 60 minutes, and no hibernate. Yet about a third of the time it will not come out of sleep...
