The toolset is an update for Windows Activation Technologies, one of the...

I've got a new spelling for "Scrooge." M-i-c-r-o-s-o-f-t. The company has ended the Windows 7 Family Pack promotion, which is a nice Ba Humbug to you and yours for the holidays. Sure, it could be good for Microsoft's bottom line and perhaps partners' PC sales. But for...

Does anyone know if there is a way to "keep" Win 7 without buying it? Don't preach to me now about supporting MS because as the world's richest company my few bucks ain't gonna' ruin them. I want to keep it because it really works well with COD(UO) and I have a lot of software installed that...

Hi. I joined primarily to ask this single question.
Is it possible to legally own a Windows 7 Ultimate version right now?
I'm asking because I saw a PC in an on-line store, which had the Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit version installed.
I am tempted to buy it, really, but I'm afraid I could get into...

Anybody else find it amusing all of these people having anxiety attacks and begging trying to get the latest build then find some kind of crack or activator so it works forever? You don't have to be to bright to figure out that MS is turning a blind eye to all of these recent leaks and must...
Today Win 7 informed me I was running a pirated copy of Win 7 RC 7100.
IT IS NOT.
Following the link provided by the notification, I was informed that the product is not being sold yet.
Does this mean the RC will not get any updates until it is bought??? So much for free until 2010!

Microsoft: Pirated Windows 7 Will Still Get Updates - Tom's Hardware
I pretty much knew this anyway but still I thought it would be a good read for some.. ;) Kinda backs up the 'conspiracy theory' a couple of members on here had going a while back... How MS was leaking the daily builds of...
build 7100 had been finalized and noticed early this morning that both the 32-bit and 64-bit flavors had been leaked to various P2P networks. Fake downloads had appeared yesterday but these were quickly removed. The latest downloads appear to be genuine.
