I keep getting messages from MSoft saying upgrade to WIN 11. How can I know if my current software progs will still function? eg I am still using MSOffice 13/MSMoney/ACT2000 among many others.

On my windows 11 machine, after it is running for a couple of minutes I briefly see 2 cmd windows popup briefl. They're gone way too fast to see what command is executed or to have any clue where they originate from. How would I go about finding out what program is executing them ?

Any way to do that? For example, some programs like to hijack your browser and switch your current tab to their homepage when you install/uninstall/update them. Would like to completely stop that (for all apps ever at once, not individually).
