It is NOT relevant for accesses from outside...

I was just wondering, since July 9th has been missed, I have heard it will be sometime around July 16th. Anyone heard anything for sure?
I still haven't deciphered the comments about releasing the final version to the Insiders on July 29th. I suppose technically, the public release has been...
I have been using Windows 7 pro since it came out without any problems.
I recently decided to upgrade to Window 10. All went well until I tried to connect to the internet. I have reset the network type to private and tried everything I can find on the net to fix this problem without success...
Looking at my Windows Firewall allowed programs I found 2 entries called Windows Expolrer - note the spelling of explorer. One of them is ticked for Home/Work, the other for Public.
Why are there two instances of this 'file' and more importantly, why can't I delete them?
I've searched the...

I do not know how did this happen. Someone posted a question in my Inbox.
I did not ask for it, and I do not answer questions in "private session " format.
Please move it back to appropriate forum so that everyone can have a crack at it.
I do NOT want it in my Inbox.
Thank you.

I can connect to the web but no home gropu can be made
it shows that the home is no connected and public is in the firewall but I cant change that to home operational
I cant restore as it shows the network has faults or even update from the disc
I thought I had private vs. public figured out by changing the slider at "network" from public to private.
However I noticed it is stuck on public and I cannot change it to private.
Please advise.
Thank you

Hello
I see from the attachment I have a public network. Shouldn't it be a private one for more security? How do I change it if that is correct?
Thank you
Peter

If one has Norton Security Suite and Avast,on their Laptop and you connect to a site that is unsecured like McDonalds are you vulnerable to being hacked? Or is it as if you do not have any security at all?
Right now we are out of state and...
I connect to net through a pen drive dongle. All settings are automatically created by a login bloatware that ISP has provided.
I wanted my net to be homegroup but my ISP doesn't provide ipv6 so w7 had earlier said that homegroup can't be created without ipv6, so I had termed as workgroup in...
