I have been using Windows 7 pro since it came out without any problems.
I recently decided to upgrade to Window 10. All went well until I tried to connect to the internet. I have reset the network type to private and tried everything I can find on the net to fix this problem without success.
Re-starting the machine returns the network type to public. I run the home group trouble shooter which changes the net work back to private, but still no internet.
I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
Thanks

Do you have internet connection on your other devices?
Also are you connected directly or WiFi?
