Ever since I got a new hard drive and installed a fresh copy of windows 8.1, I have been having issues with my pc's speed. Before both of my usable hard drives inconveniently broke within a week, my pc was just fine in terms of speed. I could run most games I had installed. Nowadays, after...

Does the order of RAM sticks matter? I am new to hardware. if I have 6 slots 1 GB sticks won't natter I guess. But what If the sticks are 1 and 2 GB? My PC appears to be dual channel where two sticks fit in each module(Block with 2 slots).
I will randomly get the bsod and my computer restarts. I tried to run the rammon program but i got a error message. If there is anything else you need, please let me know. This is my first post, so go easy on me. Thank you for your help.
I have a system that will not make it past post. The system starts, and then has a black screen that basically reads "disk error" and a mac id. Now, I know that means there is something wrong, so I took the drive and put it in my main system with slightly higher specs. The hard drive worked...

I've read a million posts on this, none of which have aided me on the slightest.
As seen here, my memory and disk usage are insanely high, with no discernible reason as to why. This is the case essentially all the time, and it's perplexing to say the least.

This is on a six-core system, 8GB ram, win 8.1 64bit.
Yesterday everything was fine. I went to shut down at the end of the day and selected 'update and shut down.'
Then in the morning windows would not boot up.
After some digging around it looks like the update moved my entire windows folder...

I have a Toshiba Windows Vista 32 bit and would like install 4GB's of RAM but the limiting factor seems to be the memory addressing capability of the processor.
Is there any way to get around this?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

On the next Xbox Microsoft should call it Xbox PC and include a 1.0TB ssd's in it. They should also give the customer a choice on the cpu, ram and video card inside it.
It should run all gaming platforms on it and kill off the low-end game console.
It should be marketed as a small living room...
