    Windows 7 PIN TO missing in context menu

    I had to do a reinstall because the reg became corrupt with entries not owned by me and I couldn't change them back - tried everything I could find on the subject. ANYWAY - now I am missing both the PIN TO functions in the rt clk context menus In fact, there is nothing on my Start Menu (left)...

    Windows 7 Start menu most recent stored where?

    When I click the start button theres a list of the most recent programs I've used. where exaclty is this information stored? in the registry? I looked and couldn't find anything.

    Windows 7 Start menu pinned items gone!

    After much deliberation, I finally decided to upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I breezed through the upgrade installation process but strangely, the programs I had pinned to the Start menu prior to installation were no longer there.
