A week ago at the startup the svchost.exe loads all of my memory (4GB).
During eating memory, the system freeze.
After loaded all of memory, discharge all, and the system works normal...

i do accept for win7 to take 40% of RAM in idle to load some things faster OS related
but today i ran Warcraft 3 and Photoshop CS2, and now RAM usage went from 400 MB to over 700 MB
i have 1 GB but now small lag already is felt in some aspects
and as much as MS did brag off their memory...

My cpu with the dual core although small is usually really quiet especially xp but also windows 7. Installed AVG (needed an av in there) and my cpu is always 65 75 sometimes 100%. Any suggestions. I know windows defender is installed also. Wouldn't that cover the av problem?
