Windows 7 The ol' switch a roo
I installed W7 Home Premium on my computer, because a lot of my games won't run on W7 I've decided to install said W7 on my wifes computer and go back to XP.My question is can I deactivate it or do I need to call MS for a new key?This is a retail upgrade copy.- fugno

Windows 7 W7 Pro 64-bit Clean Install, some loose ends.
I upgraded my Lenovo laptop from Vista Ultimate 32-bit to W7 Pro 64-bit. I used a retail upgrade as Lenovo won't supply a 64-bit upgrade for a 32-bit preloaded system. I should have known that when I ordered the laptop, but I didn't. The upgrade (clean install) on a new 'cloned' HDD worked just...- BobHelms
