    Windows 11 Windows 11 safety remove

    I have a persistent problem with safety remove and my flash drives but never did with Windows 10. Do you know where that setting is in 11? I had it once but have forgotten where it is.

    Windows 7 Can't remove USB device safely.

    Okay so whenever I need to remove my USB flash drive after updating some excel files, it won't allow me to remove it safely. It tells me that the device is currently in use and that I should close all programs but there aren't any programs opened. I can only remove it by going into the library...

    Windows 7 "Safe remove" does nothing

    When I try to safe remove an SD card, I click on it and it does nothing. I never get a message that says it's now safe to remove, and it doesn't unmount. There's no error message involved, it just does nothing. Does anybody know how to fix this?
