Today at Microsoft BUILD, Microsoft confirmed that the developer bits of Windows 8 will be available for download starting at 8 PM AST (this translates into 12 am Atlantic, 11 PM eastern time and 4 am british).
It includes demonstration/developmental apps and a fully featured metro UI.
