screen stretching

About this tag
Screen stretching occurs when a display shows content at an incorrect aspect ratio, causing images to appear wider or taller than intended. Users may experience stretching when extending or duplicating displays, as Windows may adjust resolution or scaling, leading to a distorted image. Common fixes include adjusting display scaling settings, setting the correct resolution, or using graphics driver controls to maintain proper aspect ratio. This tag covers troubleshooting stretched displays on Windows systems.
