Okay, lately I have been having a real hassle dealing with my Twitter feed. I recieve a LOT of tweets in it every day, to the point that on weekdays I actually can't get back to the point where I left off last night because Twitter just stops loading any older tweets than, say, 8 hours ago.
I...

Hello everyone! ♥
I'm facing an incredibly frustrating problem with my laptop. First of all I would like to say that the laptop has been exchanged once for an identical one, and the same problem occurs on the new one. Also a full system recovery does not fix the problem.
The problem is either...
The number of emails displayed per page in Outlook.com is 35 ( reading pane is off ), does anybody know how to reduce this to 25 so that I don't need to scroll down ? I realise that I can obviate scrolling by reducing the zoom from 100% to 75% but I don't find that very comfortable, the text...

Just was wondering if people realise that if you set the cursor on the Ribbon in a File Explorer window and use the scroll wheel one can cycle through the Ribbon tabs.
This, of course, holds true in Windows 8.1, as well.
Cheers,

I have been using my Acer Aspire 5742G notebook for over 2 years now. Recently, I noticed a peculiar and very irritating issue. Rather two of them. First, the screen auto-scrolls abruptly and randomly (in no particular program, be it MS-Word / Excel or any browser). Also, when I type anything...

Hi, I am new to Window 7, been using Linux for over 20 years. I currently have a Windows 7 operating system in my new build, and need help from time to time.
Each time a page opens on this site, there is a big advertisement leading the postings. It is rather annoying to have to scroll though...
Dear Windows 8 Forums representatives,
I need your help because I don't like the two finger scrolling on Windows 8 for Asus. It works decent but I still prefer the old fashions one finger scrolling it seems to be more fluid when scrolling through pages. For me it still feels unnatural to use...
Recently my arrow keys have been acting odd. I go to a page, scroll down, but it instead scrolls through tabs.
It stays like that for a few minutes, then it's okay.
Any idea why and how to fix?
When typing, my cursor disappears. I then have to left click the page I'm on to get it back. I can type for about 20 seconds/100 characters, then I get a Windows beep warning. Any characters I'm typing stop showing up on the monitor. Same thing when I'm scrolling up or down a page: the cursor...

Is there a mechanism by which we get rid of that intrusive and intensely irritating "tweets" link which necessitates scrolling up and down a page to read the text which it is blocking?
I'm trying to select multiple files in a long row of files, to do this I drag a selection box to select all of the files I want. The problem is that I can't scroll with the mouse wheel while either of the mouse buttons is held down, or at least not outside of the library.
The 'library'...
I am using Win7 64 bit. Randomly a mouse pointer appears that has a hand super imposed over a box that has a up down arrow on the right side. It automatically scrolls where ever I place the pointer over an object on the desktop. I cannot make it disappear. Rebooting the PC will return the...
Just thought I'd share this w/ y'all... this is how I have come to best like displaying the Applications folder I keep on my Windows8 Desktop Taskbar. Listed in alphabetical order it's how I can pull or access anything I may want @ any given moment w/out leaving Desktop to look for something...
Heres the problem: In SOME full-screen applications when scrolling, the mouse gets jammed into the lower right corner. It's able to be moved away, but if I'm using it to control my camera (FPS style.) I end up looking 90 to 180 degree's to my right. It makes a lot of this impossible like zooming...
I have a laptop which the resolution only goes 1366x768.
I support an application that goes higher like X1024 so I can't see the whole thing.
This is not an issue when I'm connected to a monitor, however Im away and dont have a second monitor.
Any there any programs or tips that will...
