I have tested almost all third party firewalls and security suites. I have found out that there is something seriously wrong in W7.
In WinXP All software I tested filter network connections as expected. I can block incoming connections and control outgoing connections way I like.

I need to force/run IE 7 on windows 7 - I know IE 7 is not compatible with windows 7 but surely there is a way to force this to happen?

I stared using the beta version (7000) of Windows 7 in January, and used it until de RC came out.
My impression is that the beta was better.
When I saw how good W7 beta was I started hoping that Microsoft would´t ruin it in following releases, but it seems that´s what´s happening...
I had no problems installing the Beta on 2 systems. The RC installed just fine on 1 but has failed on 2 others. Why did the beta work but the RC not work on the same machines. Is this a case of MS fixing a system that worked till be breaks? till it breaks?:confused:
