Hello there! I'm having a bit of an issue with my HP Pavilion dv6 lap top.
The specs are AMD A8-3520M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.60 GHz. 6.00GB RAM. 64-bit OS.
This started about 2 and a half weeks ago and i'm not entirely sure from what. I've updated graphic drivers and sound drivers but...
It really bugs me that I can't change some settings, like fast startup, because I don't have permission. I am the only user on my home computer and Windows 8 tells me to see the system administrate. I want FULL permissions on my Windows 8.
Anyone know how to fix it?
Windows 8 pro 64bit.
I cannot access things like "gadgets" because the system tells me only administrators can use these. I'm the only admin on my home network. How do I fix this?
On another problem: I cannot modify my screen background thru the NVIDIA setup. I have an NVIDIA card and a fully compatible screen...

Hi there.
I would like to have my current user as a real administrator and not just be in the administrator group.
I know that command: net user administrator /active:yes
but it adds a new user at the log on screen. I would like to have the same privileges of the real admin but with my...

I've writen some scripts to change the C:\user to an other partition.
all seems to work but I can not change the security on the SYMBLINK and Junctions (not the directories)
assuming all in c:\users\%USERNAME% is machine independent ...
All data will be recreated at first login anyhow...
