system problems

i have a Gateway GT5012 desktop pc that i just installed windows 7 on.iam having the same problems that other people are having with it not shutting down.i read it was an m-audio problem,but my audio is sigmatel.anyone know of a workaround for this?thanks

After a couple of firewall problems, I seem to be getting regular updates to my W7. The different updates appear in the uninstall panel, at least. However, my desktop tagline still reads "Build 7000". Are the build releases separate, or what? I'm seeing all kinds of good stuff here --well...

Hi all. Clean install on a new PC here, went from XP Home to Vista Home Premium. Spent a pretty penny, too. The problem that I have is coming out of hibernation the system often crashes and I lose all functionality. And important webpages and WIP Documents! I am forced to reboot and lose it...
