About this tag
The system resume tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about computers waking from sleep or hibernation modes. Users report issues such as the Start Menu opening automatically after resume, BSOD or black screen when returning from sleep, and complete system resume failure where the screen goes black after the 'Resuming Windows' screen. Troubleshooting often involves graphics drivers, hardware conflicts, or Windows updates.
