tag display
About this tag
The tag display on WindowsForum.com covers issues where media file metadata such as title, bitrate, and length fails to appear in Windows Explorer. Users report that columns for these tags remain empty even when using Detailed view, affecting the ability to sort and manage music and audiobook collections. Discussions focus on troubleshooting tag visibility in Windows 8 and later versions, often involving settings in Explorer, codec support, or file property handlers. The tag is relevant for users performing housekeeping on media libraries and needing reliable tag data display.
Hi all! I recently installed Windows 8.
I noticed that at some point the media tags stopped displaying in Windows Explorer for media files such as mp3 and m4b. I am talking about such tags as "title" , "bitrate" and "length" for audio files, for example.
