    Windows Vista Vista Locks up Laptop 60s

    I got my daughter a Gateway laptop in Oct 07, with Vista installed. She has not used it alot. Just recently, it locks up 60s after power up. I mean locks up! You can't do a thing, including Task Mgr. Tried power up in Safe mode....same thing. Any ideas? Any support numbers for Microsoft? I...
