I have read that Win11 will require that BitLocker is installed and activated using the newer v2.0 TPM chip. Using no TPM chip, or the v1.2 chip will not allow Win11 to operate. Win11 seems to gets more complicated with more potential for backdoors. It will need to be out for quite a while...
