About this tag
The tag 'traditional' on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about the traditional desktop interface in Windows 8, where users prefer the classic desktop environment over the new app-focused navigation. Topics include disabling the hot corners that switch to the Start screen and using third-party tools like StartW8 to restore a more traditional look. The tag also appears in threads about traditional landscape images and cultural traditions, such as a Christmas video from a Yupiq village and a fix for the Chinese Traditional HK version of Windows 7 showing a legacy progress bar. These posts reflect a mix of user preferences for familiar interfaces and cultural references.
