Hi,
I had an issue with the general user folder name, which was shown as "Alex_000".
Although this was a cosmetic issue only, I wanted to change this to "Alex".
I successfully managed this by changing about 50 entries in the registry (via regedit).
So fine so good.

I have an SSD in my computer and have it as the boot drive so that I can boot quickly. However when I went to change the directory location for all my folders (Document, Videos, Music...etc) the Pictures folder was some how changed in the D drive.

I currently have Windows XP on a computer with Outlook Express as the email. If I boot up the computer with the Windows 7 disc and change operating systems will I lose all my folders in express and saved emails? Does Windows 7 use Outlook and not Express?

Hi. when I run a *.* on my User folder I get a file on my desktop that wont delete. It does not show up in the actual desktop while in explorer. It shows up when I run a *.* or any text in the file name.
