After some last Windows10 update the MSEdge was set as the default PDF files viewer. When I switch it back to Acrobat, it returns again as before. I tried it more times using the right mouse with checked option, in settings/default apps by file type, nothing helps. No option to see the Edge...
I created a Windows 10 recovery drive on USB a while ago and I reckon I could create an updated version from ;media creation tool'. Can anyone tell me if I can then use this to install Windows 10 on a new PC when I stop using this 8 year old slow model? I have a product code for the original...
For personal reasons I'd rather not disclose, it has been years since I owned a laptop - now I am setting everything up and I want to get things right. I have completely forgotten how to create a folder - I am ashamed to say it. I want to create them by month, i.e. February 2021 for I plan to...
My computer is running Windows 10H2. It was upgraded from Windows 7, I have no install media.
The "run as admin" doesn't work so I may need to do a "Recovery", "reset".
If I reset I need to reinstall a lot of programs, "Apps and Features" says 173! How do I get a full list of these so I can...

Hi guys I have a quick question.
So I've been mirroring my Windows 10 PC to my TV by using an HDMI cable. That's the best way for me. But I noticed that I can't use my PC to do something else while having a specific tab be mirrored to my TV.
I know there's a way to do this I just don't know...

Assume I have a notebook with Win10 v1803.
Now I would like to upgrade this Win10 to ONLY (!) Win10 v1903 but NOT the newest v1909.
Is this possible?
How can I avoid beeing upgraded to newest v1909?
Peter

I just purchased this laptop at a fairly inexpensive price, because I wanted to have a "typewriter" that would have the bells an whistles, and be used strictly off internet. The problem is that I don't like or want Windows 12, and e ven off the internet, I'm still plagued with issues...

I have been searching for a solution to allow boot up only if a third party hardware is connected. For the new tech people. A similar solution was possible during the days of Windows 95 up to Win Me by using Dos.
The idea is to disable all the HDD from booting and enabling USB and once the boot...

I hope someone can guide me through this.
I have a program that I really like to use called FolderMatch. Other than run in a Microsoft environment, it is not at all related to Microsoft or Microsoft Office 2003, although I still have that suite installed but the Installation CD...
