(It looks too much like thunderbirds you-got-mail-icon, which is driving me crazy!)
Obviously I tried this method:

Just was wondering if people realise that if you set the cursor on the Ribbon in a File Explorer window and use the scroll wheel one can cycle through the Ribbon tabs.

Hi
I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird for my e-mail client.
I'm annoyed by getting all the duplicate Link-back posts (some going clear back to 2010) mixed in with all my other stuff.
While trying to figure out if there was some way to block them, I found that I can make a folder in my inbox...

With Windows 8, its preferable to sign into your PC with a Microsoft account—or what we still call a Windows Live ID—to take advantage of SkyDrive-based settings sync and deep integration with several new Metro-style apps and other capabilities. But if you signed in with a local...
On Windows XP I could go to Windows folder and to the SEND TO function and add something like "Drive F" so that when I wanted to save an item I right clicked on that file, selected Send To, then selected Drive F .
Can this be done in Windows 7 and if so How please?
Thanks,
Gary
Place your mouse cursor anywhere in the Ribbon and then use the Scroll Wheel. It will scroll from File to Home to Share to View.
This way, you won't have to click on the Tab you want.
Came across this by accident.
Also works in the Windows Live Mail Ribbon, eh, probably works on any & all...

Many of us, who like to futz around with our PC's, not just appliance operators, like to get into our Control Panels every once in a while.
But Win-8 doesn't make that as easy as it was in XP.
However there is a way to get to the control panel in Win-8.
Here's one way:
