Salutations. I was wondering if anyone knew of a software that will bring up a "enter password" box on Windows 11 Home (Android optional) whenever it's plugged in as to prevent any kind of access like on Bitlocker (I'm assuming) or like on any Laptop. I don't care if it's paid or free, but a...

Hi guys,
Does partitioning an NVME with extra D:\ partition cause loss of speed and life span?
On google the answers were not straight to the point.
I am worried mostly about loss of speed! Someone mentioned the D: partition will be in essence a virtual drive, thus the loss of speed.
Can you...

Occasionally I got bootable *.iso images which contain a Linux system with some additional software.
Ok, I could burn these ISO images on a CD/DVD and boot from them in order to test the software.
But I could imagine that there is something like a Linux boot emulator (similar to QEMU under...

I'm hoping someone can analyze a couple BSOD's I've had recently. They've caught me quite off guard, and I've lost more work than I care to admit!
I'm guessing it has something to do with my Samsung/Android phone. I often plug it in via the USB cable. I'm simply trying to charge the phone, but...
I have a Liteon iHaS124 (B version?) and I have kind of a bizarre problem with it. It worked well for over a year, now suddenly I have no detected drive at all.
I tried flashing the FW back to stock, but it says no drive detected. It's definitely connected and powered, I can eject just fine but...
While installing windows 8 i ran into an error. It said that this disk is mbr and is needed to be converted to gpt. So I tried formatting it and it said

I went to cmd and tried to convert mbr to gpt...

Whenever I RDP into my box (running windows7 ultimate) I cannot read/write CDs/DVDs. I can when logged in locally, as well as boot off the DVD drive.
I have noticed that occasionally when switching between RDP and local, I will see two DVD drives.
Could this be a device cloning issue?
thnx
Daemon tools was giving me blue screens and I'm not sure what software is a good replacement for it so I thought I would ask here. I would appreciate it if the software does not have a history of causing problems for people either xD

I have an *.iso file on my hard disc.
What is the easiest was to map this Ü.iso file to a (free) driver letter (e.g. M:) ?
I don't want to burn it on a DVD and access it in my DVD drive
Is there a Win7 built-in way?
