I have a desktop connected to a modem/router and a laptop connected wireless.
I cannot print from my laptop unless I go to my desktop and "wakening" it up!
Does anyone know how to fix this or "Wake Up" my desktop remotely?
My computer wakes from hibernation.
I’m using windows 7 x64. My BIOS doesn’t support any configuration settings about wake, and the LAN device driver states that it doesn’t support wake on LAN.

I am trying to set up Wake on LAN. My problem is that I keep losing power to my NIC when I shutdown the PC. If I hibernate, I can wake it up. But I want to shut the PC down totally, not hibernate. All the proper BIOS settings are enabled. All the proper NIC settings are enabled. All the power...
I have a USB Wireless N adapter(TP-Link WN722). I put in the registry entry I found on MSofts site (EnableWoWLAN), but the Allow this device to wake computer option is still disabled for the adapter. Does this mean my network adapter doesn't support WOL or am I missing something? I updated the...
A couple days ago, my computer hung after going into an idle induced sleep. It would not wake up. I had to power off. This problem continues.
Another symptom is it will not shutdown or hybernate. It starts back up again. Things I've already done:
Uninstall Roxio
Turn off Wakeup on Lan...

I've got to PCs running W7 build 7000 ultimate x64 and connected through a router.
After I log into PC_A due to a restart or shut-down (never tried switching user) it makes PC_B to restart apparently from...
Machine is set to sleep mode, goes to sleep at the set time of 30 minutes, case power light is off, fans off.
At about 5 minutes re-start and then turn off right away, power light stays on, fans stays off.
Inboard IR doesn't turn machine on by remote, can turn on and off before case power...
