I'm a great Warcraft3 player. And I usually run it on my notebook with widescreen (1440x900). War3 "doesnt know" this resolution, so, running Win Vista, the picture was simply stretched. Now I use Win 7. And this OS is too clever, so I see something like this:

In windows vista I used to be able to select more wide screen resolutions. For my desktop its not really a big deal, run at 1900x1200 at all times. But in games it stinks because the 1440x900 and 1650x1080 resolutions are no longer options in windows 7... maybe it is just the driver? I...

I have a wide screen laptop so I usually dock my task bar on the right hand sidde o the screen. When I reboot windows 7 the task bar reverts to it's default location at the bottom of the screen. Am I doing something wrong or is this just one of the Beta things?
