So far so good.
I want to use this for playing back wmp audio files to a D to A converter. So I...

Hi.
I have experienced the BSOD several times today. After the reboot, windows was unable to start-up again and required a start-up repair each time.
No previous episodes of BSOD. I installed a number of critical and recommended windows updates last night. Have restored my system to a point...
I would like to know if there is a way to stop being offered specific Windows updates that do not apply to my personal usage. I use the process where I am notifies if there are updates available and I chose which I desire.

Hi,
AVG PC Tuneup warned me: Windows reports that the "WAN Miniport (Network Monitor) #2" device is not working properly." therefore: ....click Update driver and follow the instructions.
When I did so, windows checked for updates, then stated that my driver is up to date.
However the device...
I've recently had to restore my PC (W7) to "factory settings" (i.e. wipe the hard drive reload W7 and reinstall everything). It seems that there was some update of a driver or maybe windows update that is causing the system to malfunction. I run 6 screens and I have read that the NVIDIA card...
For some reason, I cannot open my library folders (music, video, documents, pictures). I don't know how it occurred, but I think it may be due to the last round of updates that were downloaded from Microsoft.
When I click on the folders, nothing happens. I get no errors either. This is what...
I have a Netgear WNDR3700 router (v4) which I got a couple of months ago to replace my dying router. It comes with a ReadyShare USB to Network device portal which allows me to hook up a USB HDD and use it as a network drive. The speeds aren't all that fast, but, for my current purposes it suits...

It was just over one year ago, May 28, 2012, to be exact, that I transitioned from running active MSRC cases and writing bulletins to my current role managing software security incidents. A lot has changed in that year - and I’ve dealt with some interesting issues during my tenure - but...

Have just installed Windows 7. The sound very bad, with clicks and lots of distortion.
Moving volume up/down causes crackles.

I have a brand new pc and normally it starts up in 30 ~ 40 seconds. Yesterday, I installed Easy-Hide-Ip and there were some Windows Updates also. From that moment on my pc boots in 2 minutes! In the ntbtlog.txt I've found some drivers did not load. Can this be the problem? What is the solution?
The web site Tweaktown is carrying an article showing leaked slides of Windows Blue. Whilst this isn't obviously an official first look it does give an idea of what to expect:
