About this tag
Discussions about Word 2013 on WindowsForum.com cover performance issues with large documents, file tagging problems in Windows 8.1, and compatibility concerns when using older Office versions on Windows 10. Users report that Word 2013 can be slow with files approaching 1000 pages, even on powerful hardware, and that it may not fully utilize system resources. Tagging in Word 2013 can behave unexpectedly when tags contain spaces, making it difficult to locate files via Windows Explorer. Some users find Word 2013 overly complex and prefer earlier versions like Word 2003. The tag also appears in a thread about converting a Chinese-language patent document using Word 2013.
