Jimmy Fallon and guest Johnny Knoxville stand center stage fully decked out in heavy, clunky suits of medieval knight armor to introduce an obstacle course challenge called "Late Knights." Jimmy walks through the ridiculous set of rules—spinning dizzy five times around their swords, chugging a beer through their visors, vaulting over hay bales in the hallway, and grabbing plastic mannequin damsels before racing back to the studio finish line.
The race kicks off around 01:58 to fast, frantic chase music played live by The Roots. The physical comedy takes over immediately as both men get disoriented from spinning, clattering loudly against each other and doorframes as they wobble backstage. Watching them attempt to pour beer into their helmet visors at 02:28—mostly just drenching their chest plates—and crash hard over hay bales and scattered marbles is hilarious. By the time they drag their rescue mannequins back onto the main stage at 03:45, both helmets have popped off and they collapse onto the floor completely spent.
It's top-tier physical slapstick that works precisely because those armors are clearly real, heavy, and extremely difficult to move in. Knoxville is right at home taking a beating in costume, and the chaotic racket of metal slamming onto linoleum floors makes the whole short race thoroughly entertaining.
