I recently bought a Whirly-Pop, which came with a Theater Time popcorn kit, which I used while awaiting for another order of popcorn and coconut oil. The kit was in three parts...popcorn, coconut oil and a butter colored powder, which I assume it was. That first batch had a flavor that I have yet been able to reproduce, which means that something more was in the packet than I guessed.

I'm in the process of experimenting, but haven't come close yet, but so far all that I've tried adding in Garlic granules. Whatever the missing ingredient(s), it makes one crave a soda to wash it down, which would obviously be of benefit to theater snackbar sales. Since I know that I'm not the only one that likes popcorn of this kind, someone must know the secret...what is it?
