Entertainment Weekly put together this fun promotional clip where Game of Thrones cast members Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, and Peter Dinklage attempt to summarize the first four seasons of the show in 30 seconds. Before the clock even starts, Dinklage complains that summarizing fifty hours of television in thirty seconds is ridiculous. Once the countdown begins around 0:16, Harington quickly covers Ned Stark's death and dragons hatching, while Williams repeatedly lists death, revenge, and more death. Dinklage completely hijacks his segment by deadpanning the plot of Breaking Bad, describing a high school chemistry teacher who meets Jesse Pinkman, buys a Winnebago, and gets involved with a fried chicken place. The chaotic montage wraps up right at 0:49 as Clarke enthusiastically declares Daenerys wins just as the clock hits zero. Dinklage stealing the entire bit with his straight-faced Breaking Bad synopsis is easily the highlight here. It is a quick, nostalgic burst of promo content from back when the show was at its peak hype, and seeing the actors poke fun at the sheer grimness and complexity of the plot in under a minute still makes for a fun watch.
