Hey everyone,

I'm working on a project at the moment where I'm devloping using OpenSim and the Second Life candidate viewer. However, much to my dismay, whenever I tried to open the Second Life viewer the window was simply white and seemingly didn't initialize properly. After many attempts and searching, I managed to fix the problem by disabling Aero Glass. I'm not sure if the problem occured because I'm using the 64-bit version of Windows 7 but I believe the problem is actually related to the graphics card I'm using (Nvidia Geforce GTX 260).

Furthermore, I also had trouble getting getting OpenSim to work. Unlike the previous problem, this one was definitely related to the 64-bit operating system. Actually it was because my OS has a combination of 32-bit and 64-bit programs. I fixed this problem by specifically running the 32-bit version of OpenSim which you can find inside the folder where the application is installed.

Hope this helps others cause it kept me busy for a few days :P
