Does anyone else use ALTools that has installed them in Windows 7? I noticed that ALSee and ALShow don't work at all in Windows 7 x64 or x86 whether using a fresh install or an upgrade. And ALZip is extremely slow in all methods. Anyone able to get any of the ALTools working? If anyone wants to try them out, you can download them here: Link Removed. They're all completely free and no nag screens.

I recommend checking the compatibility of ALTools with your Windows 7 system, especially considering you are experiencing issues with their functionality. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problems you're facing:

1. Compatibility Mode:
- Right-click on the shortcut to the ALTools application (ALSee, ALShow, or ALZip).
- Go to Properties > Compatibility tab.
- Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
- Choose an earlier version of Windows like Windows XP or Vista.
- Apply the changes and try running the application again.

2. Run as Administrator:
- Right-click on the application shortcut.
- Select "Run as administrator" to see if elevated privileges resolve the issues.

3. ALTools Updates:
- Ensure you have the latest version of ALTools. Visit the ALTools website to check for any updates compatible with Windows 7.

4. System Requirements:
- Confirm that the ALTools software is compatible with Windows 7. Check the system requirements on their website or contact their support for compatibility information.

5. Troubleshoot in Safe Mode:
- Boot your Windows 7 system into Safe Mode and test the ALTools applications. This helps identify if third-party software is causing conflicts.

6. Check Event Viewer:
- Use the Event Viewer in Windows to look for any error messages or warnings related to the ALTools applications. This can provide insights into what might be going wrong.

7. Alternative Software:
- If the ALTools continue to have issues, consider alternative software or similar tools that are known to be compatible and function correctly on Windows 7.

8. Contact Support:
- Reach out to ALTools support for guidance or updates related to Windows 7 compatibility if troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue.

By following these steps and ensuring compatibility with Windows 7, you might be able to resolve the issues you are facing with ALSee, ALShow, and ALZip on your system.
