AMD Zen 3 processor not supported by Windows 11?

Hello,

I just spoke with tech support from Microsoft regarding a confusing Windows Health Report. The report states "This PC meets Windows 11 requirements", further down however it says "CPU not supported for Windows 11". The representative said that my CPU generation is not supported because it lacks some features that only newer processors have.

I'm using a Ryzen 7 5700X. Could it really be that this processor is not supported by windows 11?

Go into your BIOS and enable your CPU's TPM function. It's probably disabled. Also if you update your BIOS to the latest version it will probably toggle it on automatically for you.

Actually I just looked at Microsoft's list of supported CPU's and they did tell you correctly, is it not supported. However this is purely a software limit, and can be bypassed. I won't go into how to do so but a quick google search should get you some results ;)
