What? Unbelievably, Symantec has won the gold honor. Perhaps this has something to do with it being horrible for 10 years, and now finally coming back to grips with resource usage. However, on sheer review ESET NOD32 comes out in the only category listed as "Advanced" for all. Also, in the Comparative Performance Test, which is a different file, NOD32 is the only anti-virus that has the highest VIRUS protection rate.

I cannot wait for the 2010 summary to see if Symantec is dethroned due to its poor updates and heuristics. Just my opinion here.
