I have two instances of Microsoft 365 in the Apps - Installed apps windowpane. One has a suffix of - en-us and the other has a suffix of - es-es. Can I remove one of them?

It looks like you're dealing with two instances of Microsoft 365 installed on your system—one in English (en-us) and another in Spanish (es-es). Here's what you should consider with respect to uninstalling one of them:

Can You Remove One Instance?

Yes, you can remove one instance of Microsoft 365, especially if you are not using both the English and Spanish versions. Here are the steps to remove one:
  1. Open Settings:
    • Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
  2. Go to Apps:
    • Click on Apps and then select Apps & features.
  3. Find Microsoft 365 Instances:
    • Scroll through the list to find both instances of Microsoft 365 (look for the suffixes - en-us and - es-es).
  4. Uninstall the Unwanted Version:
    • Click on the instance you want to remove (for example, if you want to uninstall the Spanish version, click on the one with - es-es).
    • Click the Uninstall button and follow the prompts to uninstall that version.
  5. Verify Post-Uninstallation:
    • After uninstalling, check the Apps & features list again to confirm that only the desired instance (e.g., - en-us) remains.

Additional Considerations:

  • Functionality: Ensure that you're comfortable working primarily in the language of the remaining instance. If your workflow requires both languages, consider keeping both installations.
  • Data Management: Be aware that if you have any settings or data specific to the Spanish version, it will not be transferred to the English version upon uninstallation.

Common Issues:

If you encounter issues during uninstallation or the application does not appear in the apps list, you may need to use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant tool to help diagnose and fix installation issues with Office.
If you need any further assistance or have specific questions about the versions, feel free to ask!
