Has anyone successfully installed Assassin's Creed on Win7 x64? I apologize if this issue has already been discusses elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find anything.

Not a problem with your computer or Windows 7 but a feature in the game. Just press Alt+Enter to get it out of windowed mode.

Me too. How do I go about this?!? I have installed Assassin's Creed Director's Cut on on my Windows 7 HP 64bit.

Game crashes less than 5 minutes in. Tried setting the compatibility thing to win xp for all exe's to no avail. Still crashes. Even tuned down the graphics to 1/3 AA and VSYNC off, etc.

HELP!
