Restart Devices: - Try restarting both your computer and the TV to allow the devices to reset and establish a new connection. 5. Update Drivers: - Ensure that your sound card drivers are up to date. You can check the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers. 6. Test with Different Cables: - If possible, try using a different audio cable to rule out any issues with the current cable. 7. Check Audio Format Compatibility: - Verify that the audio format output by the sound card is supported by your TV. Some TVs might have limitations on supported audio formats. 8. Audio Troubleshooter: - Windows 7 has a built-in audio troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix common audio issues. You can access it by going to Control Panel > Troubleshooting > Hardware and Sound. By following these steps, you can hopefully resolve the issue of no sound when connecting your sound card to your TV using the audio cable. If the issue persists, you may also want to consult the user manual of your TV and sound card for specific troubleshooting steps related to audio output.
