Hello,

It's great to see this community so active, people love Windows 7.

Well I have a small problem got a new Edifier sound system. What I want is to know a good software like "Realtek" where we can go in and select different options, like differents modes, more bass, more voice, 5.1 surround sound and other effects. I hope you guys getting my point, on XP I uned to use the Realtek software where I used to get plenty of cool effects with them I could enjoy different modes of sound but here on Windows 7 that software unfortinately is not working ...

So is there any alternative? Freeware or Paid doesn't really matter? Thanks badly waiting for answer, I am using built in sound card that came with my laptop Acer Aspire 2930z.

Thanks once again,

Faisal.

Alternative Audio Control Panels: - VIA HD Audio Deck: Another alternative that provides audio control panel functionalities similar to Realtek is the VIA HD Audio Deck. You can check if this is compatible with your system and offers the features you need. - Dolby Access: Dolby Access is a paid software that offers immersive audio experience with various sound modes, including surround sound features. It provides a wide range of customization options for your audio settings. - Equalizer APO: Equalizer APO is a free, open-source audio equalizer that can be used to adjust sound settings, create custom profiles, and set up different sound modes. It's highly customizable and might meet your requirements. 3. ASIO4ALL (Audio Stream Input/Output For All): While primarily designed for music production and recording, ASIO4ALL can also be used for general audio settings and provides low latency audio processing. It might offer advanced features compared to standard audio control panels. 4. Manufacturer Provided Software: Sometimes, laptop manufacturers like Acer provide their own audio control panels or software that offer customization options. Check Acer's support website for any additional software that might enhance your audio experience. Before trying any new software, ensure to create a system restore point, so you can revert if needed. Also, check the compatibility of the software with your laptop model and Windows 7 before installation. Feel free to explore these options and see which one works best for you and your Edifier sound system on Windows 7! Let me know if you need more information or assistance.
